comerzzia has taken part for the first time as a member of La Retail Tech community in France, joining a new edition of La Retail Tech’s ‘Les Jeudis’, held in Lille as part of its “Édition spéciale Lille” format. The event brought together retailers, technology companies and industry professionals for a day focused on innovation, the transformation of physical stores and new models of consumer engagement.
This participation marks another step forward in comerzzia’s growth strategy in the French and European markets, strengthening its presence in one of Europe’s most dynamic retail ecosystems. The event offered the opportunity to share perspectives with some of the sector’s leading players and gain first-hand insight into the trends shaping the evolution of retail: customer experience, omnichannel retail, unified commerce, retail media, RFID, connected store models, sustainability and the integration of technology into daily operations.
During the morning session, the programme featured talks and round tables with professionals from companies including Auchan Retail, Leroy Merlin, Flunch and Kingfisher, who shared their views on the evolution of retail, the challenges of applied innovation and collaboration between retailers and technology companies.

The Lille edition also included a practical afternoon programme with visits to innovative store concepts in the region. These included an in-depth visit to the Kiabi Village magasin laboratoire, where the brand presented its latest innovations around offer diversification, second-hand retail, RFID, retail media and new in-store services. Participants also visited the new Leroy Merlin store in Villeneuve-d’Ascq, a 15,000 m² space across two levels that serves as a national pilot site, with a strong focus on CSR, an expanded service proposition and in-store retail media solutions. The day was rounded off with the discovery of Flunch’s Fa!m concept, an urban and digital canteen designed for active consumers and powered by Just Walk Out technology.

For comerzzia, being part of La Retail Tech is an opportunity to get closer to French retailers, understand their priorities from the ground and contribute its experience as an AI-boosted native unified commerce platform that already supports retailers in more than 60 countries.
“Taking part in La Retail Tech enables us to listen, share and connect with retailers and technology partners that are driving real transformation in the French retail sector. It is a highly valuable environment for continuing to strengthen our presence in Europe and sharing our vision of how technology can help build a more connected, agile retail model, ready for the challenges ahead,” said Patricia Pasadas, Business Development Europe at comerzzia.
The company thus continues to advance its international positioning with a technology proposition designed to help retailers unify channels and customer data, optimise and simplify operations, and improve and accelerate the shopping experience across every customer touchpoint.
