Bebemundo has 17 stores in Latin America. In addition to the traditional sales channel, it makes its products available to its customers in the online channel. Due to this, the company required a solution that would allow it to manage its stores from the central (purchasing, procurement, logistics and storage), which allows it to obtain information in real time, all this optimizing processes and reducing management costs. .

 

Another aspect that worried the company was the loyalty of its customers, in this sense, the management of promotions was a point to develop in the company.

 

Solution

For this it has been necessary to adapt commerce to the needs of the Latin American market, incorporating functionalities such as the deferral of payments, the reservations of articles or different types of affiliation (Gold, Silver, etc). Features such as promotions have also been extended, incorporating a very flexible and functional system that will allow BeBeMundo to manage all its current promotions in commerce, as well as easily create promotions in the future.

 

From the point of view of product, comerzzia differs from other POS in the market, since it includes not only a POS Module but also the possibility of managing all the processes of the Central (Purchasing, Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse), integration with systems owners and a specific Module for Electronic Commerce.

 

The POS developed in Java technology, has been customized to the corporate image of the company, with a section that allows to display advertising by type of customer, aimed at promoting sales from the point of sale. The POS has been integrated with the proprietary system of BebeMundo through a communication interface that allows the exchange of information between applications, in this way it is achieved that the information is kept in a single site and can be used by different applications.
